Doodles are a hot item in scrapbooking right now, and it is easy to incorporate them into your digital layouts. There are many doodle designs available for digital scrappers, they are easy to use and add a funky, quirky, and fresh look to your pages.
Digital Doodles are created by the designer in a PNG file – which means the background is transparent. When you look at the doodle sheet it looks as if the images are on a white background, but when you cut and paste the image into your layout you will only see the doodle.
How to use doodles:
Open the doodle file – you will probably have a page with several different doodles on it.
Using a selection tool (varies by program) select the doodle you want to use. Copy the selection (or you can cut – just remember not to save the changes to this file or you will lose them images you cut!). Paste the selection onto your scrapbook page. You can then resize and manipulate the image to fit your page.
Use your imagination! Doodles can be places in corners, as borders, even right over photos! Doodles are fun – get ready to experience the great addition they can be to your pages.
