Fold It Swirl Punch by Punch Magic:

This punch was an impulse buy for me.  I received an email about this new product, went to the site and was intrigued.  So I bought it right away even though they weren't quite available yet.  Flowers are so "in" right now and I liked the idea of quickly creating flowers with a dimesional quality.

About the Punch:

Just punch and fold for a fabulous 6-Petal Flower embellishment from Fold-It expert Susan Niner Janes. Simply punch from patterned paper, cardstock, glimmer paper or vellum, then fold for a fabulous card focal, scrapbook page border or papercraft accent! Flower measures 2” when folded. Ink the edges for more dimension.  Add buttons, brads, eyelets to the middle for a fun look!  Price: $29.99

Advantages:

• Easy to punch
• Step by step instructions with photos and ideas are included
• Quick to assemble and create (I also purchased a template, which would be more time consuming with the tracing and cutting)
• Alot of possibility, you are only limited by your imagination!

Disadvantages:

• The punch is huge!
• Price (I found it to be expensive, but it does save time)

Samples of flowers created using the punch: The first one was made with scrap paper just to get a quick idea and left the petals folded for a different look.  The remaining 5, my 10 and 11 year old daughters had fun creating, inking edges and finding centers for their flowers.
